Man desperately in need of eye donation... 14 years after dad's sight-saving gift
Ben Cronin, from Wrentham, near Lowestoft, is living with a progressive eye condition where his cornea, the clear layer at the front of the eye, becomes thinner and bulges into a cone shape.
The disorder has put the 33-year-old's life on hold, including his dream to be a nurse, as he waits for a cornea transplant.
He has had to give up paid employment but continues to be a volunteer at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
