Norfolk County Council wants to introduce the restriction on roads in Blofield and is advertising the traffic order for the limit.

The roads which would be covered include the entire lengths of Shreeve Road, Blyth Close and Smith Close.

Sections of Blyth Close and Burdett Close would also be covered by the new limit.

Officials at Conservative-run County Hall said: "The aim of this scheme is to provide a 20mph zone on various roads in Blofield, to reduce vehicle speeds and improve safety to pedestrians."
