Work on the Victorian New Mills Yard Bridge, which has been closed for more than a year, will begin on Monday.

A large crane will be used to install new bridge deck sections, after safety concerns over the crossing - for cyclists and pedestrians - were identified in 2018.

Sections of the bridge, which crosses the River Wensum next to the Grade II-listed pumping station, were initially fenced off, but the route was shut completely in April last year.
