Nearly 200 guests enjoyed a party at Wymondham Rugby Club to celebrate 65 years of cattle and sheep sales at Hall Road.

The market opened at the new site in 1960 after moving from Castle Dykes, where it had been located since the 18th century.

The fortnightly livestock auctions continue to thrive, and the market has held social fundraising events since 2012 - raising a total of more than £25,000 for
