Vandals target archaeological site causing risk to heritage and wildlife
The Norfolk Archaeological Trust (NAT), which manages the Tasburgh Enclosure, described the incidents as “devastating” and warned of serious risks to both heritage and local wildlife.
Natalie Butler, Director of NAT, revealed that over the past month, vandals have cut through fences and stolen a kissing gate at the 20-acre site just south of Norwich.
She said: “These actions have created a significant safety risk for the sheep that graze the site.
