But a Norwich exercise studio is hoping to make the events more accessible to the casual competitor with a race it is hosting this weekend.

EMS Fitness is putting on a DEKA Strong race at its Ropemakers Row studio this Saturday (April 12).

Unlike in races such as HYROX, running between each of the workout stations is optional, which owner Beatrice van den Heuvel hopes will appeal to a wider audience.
