Air India Phuket-Delhi flight probe: A320 faced multiple glitches, triple hydraulic failure before 300-ft drop

An Air India A320 flying from Phuket to Delhi reportedly suffered multiple technical problems, including triple hydraulic failure, autopilot disconnection and turbulence, before suddenly losing around 300 feet in altitude on August 4. The AAIB is investigating the incident, while Airbus and France’s BEA are also joining the probe.

New Delhi: The Air India A320 flying from Phuket to Delhi that suddenly lost around 300 feet in altitude during its journey on August 4 reportedly experienced several technical problems, including triple hydraulic system failures and turbulence, sources said.

The aircraft, operating flight AI2379, was carrying 137 passengers, including three infants, along with eight crew members.........
