California: An incredible sight unfolded along California’s central coast as more than 1,500 Risso’s dolphins surged through Carmel Bay in a rare and breathtaking “super pod” formation.
Captain Evan Brodsky of Monterey Bay Whale Watch, who captured drone footage of the event, described the scene as surreal. “They stretched across the horizon as far as I could see,” he said.
