Three U-19 stars poised to make it big from India women's T20 World Cup winning team ft. G Trisha

New Delhi: India defeated South Africa by 9 wickets in the final of the U-19 Women’s T20 World Cup 2025 at the Bayuemas Oval in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday, February 2. The Women in Blue won their second consecutive title. Trisha scored an unbeaten 44 runs to help beat the Proteas Women.

Team India successfully defended the title which they won two years ago under Richa Ghosh’s captaincy. South Africa opted to bat first in the final and Jemma Botha smashed two boundaries in the first over but Indian bowlers made a strong comeback as Parunika removed Simone Lourens for a duck.

Shabnam Shakil removed Botha on 16 runs while Aayushi Shukla dismissed Diara Ramlakan on 3 runs, leaving South Africa at 29/3 at the end of the powerplay. Indian bowlers tightened the screws with continuous dot balls to put........
