New Delhi: After almost a two-month break for the white-ball season, India’s premier red-ball tournament is back with the sixth round of the Ranji Trophy starting all across the country on January 23, Thursday.

The domestic tournament is expected to attract a lot of attention from fans this time as several Indian players will be back in action for their respective domestic teams. Indian captain Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill and Ravindra Jadeja have been named in their respective domestic teams. Meanwhile, star India batter Virat Kohli opted out of Delhi’s first game on Ranji resumption due to a neck sprain, but he is expected to participate in their next match against Railways starting January 30.
