Premier League: Preview, live streaming and predicted lineups of ‘Matchweek 2’ Saturday fixtures

New Delhi: The Matchweek 1 of the new Premier League season was headlined by Arsenal’s scrapping 1-0 win against Manchester United at Old Trafford, while defending champions Liverpool thrashed Bournemouth 4-1 at Anfield.

The title contenders, Chelsea, were kept at bay at home against Crystal Palace. Sunderland made a sensational return to the Premier League and defeated West Ham 3-0, while Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City also emerged victorious in their opening game of the season. Matchweek 2 promises even more marquee games with Manchester City taking on Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United facing Liverpool.

The Blues will be looking to get their first win of the Premier League season after a tough draw against Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge last weekend, while the Hammers were thrashed by newly-promoted Sunderland. After the poor result on the opening weekend, the pressure has increased on the former Blues boss Graham Porter, while Chelsea will look to find their rhythm back after the successful FIFA Club World Cup campaign. The match will kick off on Saturday at midnight on 12:30 AM (IST).
