New Delhi: Gujarat’s Ahmedabad will host three major international sports events, including the Commonwealth Weightlifting Championship in 2025, according to an announcement on Tuesday.

The city is traditionally known for its trade and enterprise, is now ready to welcome athletes from around the world. The three major sporting events in 2025 are the Commonwealth Weightlifting Championship, the Asian Aquatics Championship, and the AFC Under-17 Asian Cup Football Qualifiers.
