Delhi airport to get huge FedEx cargo hub with capacity rising over eight times

FedEx plans to build a 2.30 lakh sq ft air cargo hub at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport with an investment of about ₹1,400 crore. The proposed facility is expected to sharply increase package processing capacity and strengthen cargo links across North and East India.

New Delhi: Federal Express Corporation, or FedEx, plans to invest about $150 million, roughly ₹1,400 crore, to build a large air cargo hub at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport. The proposed facility will come up at GMR Cargo City and is expected to improve cargo movement across North and East India.
