Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj is inching towards its conclusion, with February 26, Maha Shivratri, being the day when the mega religious congregation concludes. The 45-day-long Maha Kumbh is not just a religious event but a living proof of India’s culture, tradition, and spiritual grandeur. It is not just a religious event but is also witnessing a wonderful amalgamation of faith and culture.
To date, 55.56 crore devotees have taken the holy dip in the Sangam and are continuing to arrive in Prayagraj for the holy dip. Mamata said that Maha Kumbh has turned into ‘Mrityu Kumbh’ while referring to the recent stampede incidents. She said that VIPs are being given special facilities in Maha Kumbh, but the poor are being deprived of them. Echoing Mamata’s sentiments, Akhilesh Yadav also targeted CM Yogi and the BJP, saying that when the Chief Minister said that arrangements had been made for 100 crore people, people were convinced.
