New Delhi: US President Donald Trump has once again launched a scathing attack on India’s trade policies, claiming India imposes “massive” tariffs that effectively block US goods from entering the Indian market. Trump’s comments, made during a White House press briefing, come as part of his ongoing campaign to renegotiate trade deals and address what he perceives as unfair trade practices by various countries.

“India charges us massive tariffs. Massive. You can’t even sell anything in India… They have agreed, by the way, they want to cut their tariffs way down now because somebody is finally exposing them for what they have done,” Trump told reporters at the White House.
