Delhi sees slight improvement in air quality; AQI stands at 288
New Delhi: The air in Delhi showed a small improvement on Friday morning. At 6 am, the city’s Air Quality Index (AQI) marked 288, which comes under ‘poor’ category. A day earlier, the AQI was much worse and was marked at 373, according to data from the Sameer app run by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).
Some areas, including Anand Vihar (305) and Bawana (363), continued to face ‘very poor’ air quality, while Burari Crossing (275) and Chandni Chowk (203) recorded slightly better but fell under ‘poor’ levels.
