The US is tilting towards Russian interests, one of China’s close allies, and moving away from Europe, and China would look to make the best of this new-found opportunity. At a time of global conflicts and changing economic dynamics, China, which is usually secretive about its operations, is hosting one of its biggest political events of the year, the “Two Sessions.”
