Minor girl carrying 10 live bullets caught at UP jail while visiting jailed boyfriend

A minor girl who arrived at a divisional jail in Uttar Pradesh’s Gonda to meet her jailed boyfriend was caught carrying 10 live bullets, a fake Aadhaar card and cash during a mandatory security check. Police have taken the girl and a man accompanying her into custody, while an investigation is underway to determine how she obtained the ammunition and fake identity document.

New Delhi: A minor girl who had reportedly arrived at the Gonda Divisional Jail in Uttar Pradesh to meet her boyfriend, who is currently lodged in prison, was found carrying 10 live bullets during a security check.

According to Jail Superintendent Aftab Alam Ansari, the girl had come to meet an inmate identified as Harsh Kashyap. A fake Aadhaar card and cash were also reportedly recovered........
