New Delhi: A chaotic day unfolded at the Delhi Indira Gandhi International (IGI) airport as over 300 flights were hit by major delays due to a technical glitch in the air traffic control (ATC) system.
The authorities advised passengers to keep in touch with their respective airlines to receive the latest flight updates. The Airport Authority of India (AAI) confirmed that the massive outbreak in flights was due to a technical issue in the Automatic Message Switching System (AMSS), which supports Air Traffic Control Data.
