Ericsson releases its first antenna manufactured in India for global export
New Delhi: Ericsson revealed its first antenna model manufactured in India for global export at an event yesterday attended virtually by Jyotiraditya Scindia, the Minister of State for Communications and Development of the North Eastern Region. Ericsson began expanding its passive antenna manufacturing and ecosystems in India a year ago, aimed at establishing antenna and component manufacturing facilities in India and boosting the domestic ecosystem, by building an end-to-end capability locally, including sourcing, production and engineering. The antennas are designed to meet local network requirements in India as well as global ones. Over 50 per cent of the antenna content is now made in India.
