New Delhi: Jofra Archer is set to make his Test comeback after four years as England have included the fast bowler in their playing XI for the upcoming third Test against India at Lord’s. England made only one change as they announced their playing for the Lord’s Test on Wednesday. The Test match is set to get underway on Thursday, July 10. Archer last featured in the whites for England in a Test against India in February 2021.

Archer will be replacing pacer Josh Tongue in England’s playing XI at Lord’s. Tongue bowled well during India’s second innings of the recently concluded 2nd Test between the two sides at Edgbaston in Birmingham. He picked up four wickets across two innings in the Test match as England suffered a humiliating 336-run defeat.
