New Delhi: Manchester United held on to beat Chelsea 2-1 in a dramatic 10-man thriller that saw both teams getting a red card apiece in the first half. After suffering a crushing Derby defeat against City, United bounced back to edge Chelsea in a chaotic clash at Old Trafford and bag their second win in the Premier League 2025-26 season on Saturday.

Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro helped United attain a two-goal lead against a 10-man Chelsea, before the hosts were themselves reduced to 10 men in the injury time before the break. Both teams played the entire second half with 10 men each, but United held their nerves under pressure to preserve a one-goal lead and secure a much-needed victory.

It was the first game in Premier League history to see two red cards, two or more goals and substitutions in the first half as United brought an end to Chelsea’s unbeaten streak in the league. Chelsea........
