Carlos Alcaraz beats Jiri Lehecka to clinch Queen's title, Bublik downs Medvedev to win Halle Open
New Delhi: World no.2 Carlos Alcaraz defeated Jiri Lehecka in a hard-fought final at the Queen’s Club Championship on Sunday to claim his second title. Alcaraz was pushed hard by Czech star Lehecka in the final, but managed to prevail in a three-setter to clinch his 21st career title. The reigning French Open champion has been in top-notch form heading into Wimbledon 2025.
Alcaraz headed into the final at the HSBC Championships after downing Roberto Bautista in straight sets in the semi-final on Saturday. Up against Lehecka, one of the only five players to have beaten him in 2025, Alcaraz was tested in the final.
