New Delhi: Paula Badosa stunned Coco Gauff in the quarter-finals to reach her maiden Grand Slam semi-final at the Australian Open 2025 on Tuesday, January 21. Spain’s Badosa produced an impeccable performance to beat Gauff 7-5, 6-4 in straight sets in a hard-fought clash and progress to the last four in the first Grand Slam of the year.

With her victory against Gauff, Badosa became the first to confirm a spot in the women’s singles semi-finals at the Australian Open this year.
