The threads of the blast in Delhi have been directly linked to Jammu and Kashmir. The car used in the blast near Delhi’s Red Fort was last sold in Pulwama in J&K and investigation agencies have begun searching for the person who bought the vehicle.

On the morning of the blast, the Jammu and Kashmir Police, with the help of Haryana Police, had uncovered a major terror network. The police recovered a large quantity of explosive material from Faridabad, which was being gathered for planning a major attack. Due to the vigilance and alertness of the Jammu and Kashmir Police and security agencies, the terrorists remained unsuccessful in their nefarious mission.

In ‘Operation Doctor Terror’, the Jammu and Kashmir Police took the help of not only security agencies, but police from several states, resulting in a massive terror conspiracy being thwarted to shake the heart of the country, Delhi. The recovery of a large quantity of explosives and weapons has led to the failure of a planned and horrific scheme to strike directly at the heart of the nation.

A joint team of Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir Police exposed a conspiracy to shake the country and busted an inter-state and international terror network. This network is linked to banned organisations like Jaish-e-Mohammed and Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind. Several accused have been arrested in the case, which includes three doctors.

On Adil Ahmed’s indication, an AK-47 rifle was first recovered from a locker at a government hospital in Anantnag. When he was interrogated, information about explosives in Faridabad was received. After this, Jammu and Kashmir Police sent a team to Haryana and the entire operation was carried out in collaboration with Haryana Police.

From two houses in Faridabad, the police recovered not one or two kilos, but 2,900 kilograms of explosive material for making IEDs. One of these houses had been rented by Dr Muzammil, who is now in police custody. The house from which the explosives were recovered is said to belong to a Maulana, whom the police arrested on Monday morning. Muzammil is a doctor by profession and had been living in Faridabad for about three-and-a-half years.

On Muzammil’s indication, a Krinkov assault rifle, three magazines, and 83 rounds of bullets were also recovered from a Swift car. Additionally, a pistol, eight rounds of bullets, two magazines, and two empty shells were found. This car belonged to a female doctor, Shaheen Shahid, who has been arrested by the police from Lucknow.

Jammu and Kashmir Police had been engaged in exposing this terror conspiracy for the last several days and, by connecting one link after another, the........
