Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s clueless approach to the National Puerto Rican Day Parade keeps getting worse.

First, his office sent out an email canceling the traditional Gracie Mansion reception, offending all the Puerto Rican and other Latino community leaders who’d normally attend.

Then his team “revived” the event with a pre-parade luncheon planned for Friday, but mainly invited younger radicals in good standing with his Democratic Socialist movement — dissing most directors of the parade committee as well as dignitaries in from Puerto Rico.
