AI’s impact on the job market is the subject of much debate, and the full effects won’t be clear for many years. But new research suggests that as workplaces adopt these increasingly sophisticated tools, at least one measurable result is clear: it might be preventing lower paid workers from benefitting from pay rises, or even finding new jobs.
