An iPhone 17 Air, new Apple Watches, and maybe new AirPods and AirTags could all be revealed at Apple’s next event.

There’s no official start to the holiday shopping season each year, but one could make a strong case that Apple’s September event kicks off a lot of wish lists. On September 9, the company will host an event it describes as “awe dropping,” where it’s widely expected to showcase the iPhone 17.

Apple events are rarely about just one thing anymore, however. So what does the company have in store? Honestly, no one’s entirely sure, but here are some of the likely products that will be revealed at the showcase, which will take place at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT.

Consider this one a lock. There have been several leaks about Apple’s new smartphone, and while not all of them are reliable, you can expect several new colors, likely with an emphasis on pastels. No one is forecasting an especially vast jump in raw power over the iPhone 16 for the base models, but don’t be surprised if you hear talk about improved game performance. (Apple’s interest in the gaming world has been on the rise lately, including the company’s first acquisition of a game developer in May.)
