If there’s one thing I’ve come to appreciate as a parent, it’s a bright-coloured kids’ coat or puddlesuit.

Whether they’re charging around a playground or legging it through a field, you can spot them quickly and easily if they’re wearing a coat that’s several shades of sunshine.

None of this beige, grey and greige nonsense (I’ve bought coats in these colours and lived to regret it). I’m now all for buying clothes in loud, vibrant colours so I know exactly where my kids are.

(And also, let’s face it, kids love a bit of colour, so it’s way less drama getting them into their coat if they’re able to wear all their favourite shades at........
