Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (Republican, Georgia) may have repeatedly gone to battle against Donald Trump over his decision to bomb Iran. But woe betide any members of the press who point out the far-right lawmaker’s rare split from the president.
Greene this weekend warned Americans “now fear Iranian terrorists attacks on our soil” as a direct consequence of Trump’s strike. On Monday, she also accused the president of pulling a “bait and switch” on his MAGA campaign vow not to enter the US into conflicts abroad.
But amid questions of her loyalty to Trump, she later wrote on X:
