Nigel Farage has repeated his claim that the West is partly to blame for the war in Ukraine.

The Reform UK leader said “the endless eastward expansion of Nato and the European Union” had contributed to Vladimir Putin’s decision to invade Russia’s neighbour.

His remarks, in an interview with Bloomberg, echo comments he made in an interview with the BBC’s Nick Robinson before last year’s general election.
