Aasmah Mir took aim at Farage on LBC.

LBC presenter Aasmah Mir has criticised Nigel Farage for calling a female journalist “love” during an interview.

She said “that is not how a prime minister behaves” as she took aim at the Reform UK leader, who is currently riding high in the opinion polls.

Farage used the term on several occasions while being quizzed by the highly-respected Mishal Husain for Bloomberg.

In a monologue on her LBC show on Thursday, Mir said: “I came across a clip of Nigel Farage being interviewed by Mishal Husain for Bloomberg and I couldn’t quite believe my ears.”

She played a section of the interview in which Husain asks Farage for his views on Russia flying jets........
