Kemi Badenoch beat Robert Jenrick to the Tory leadership last year.

Keir Starmer told Kemi Badenoch she had “lost control of her party” after Robert Jenrick hinted at a “coalition” with Reform UK before the next election.

The shadow justice secretary was secretly recorded talking about the “nightmare scenario” of Labour winning the next election because the Tories and Reform are “disunited”.

“I don’t know about you, but I’m not prepared for that to happen,” Jenrick said.

He added: “I want the fight to be united. And so, one way or another, I’m determined to do that and bring this coalition........
