Protesters have branded JD Vance “a hideous moral vacuum” as they prepare to stage a demo against his visit to the UK for a family holiday.

The US vice-president is visiting the Cotswolds with his wife and their three children.

However, members of the Stop Trump Coalition will join with local residents on Tuesday to show their opposition to him being in the country.

The protest will take place in the village of Charlbury, where a massive security operation has been put in place to protect Vance and his family.
