Truss And Badenoch Reignite A Fight No One Asked For, While Ignoring The Reform-Sized Elephant

Liz Truss and Kemi Badenoch have engaged in a war of words over the weekend as they both try to define the Tory legacy.

The colleagues – who worked together in multiple cabinets – are sparring over nothing other than the mini-Budget, a disastrous set of tax cuts implemented by Truss during her short tenure in No.10 which sent the economy into chaos.

The problem? They’re both debating a policy from almost three years ago and ignoring the rather more pressing threat to the Conservatives –Reform UK.

Rather than discussing how their party is being pushed out by the up-and-coming group led by Nigel Farage, they are currently splitting hairs over historic policies instead.
