Donald Trump’s state visit may not have gone as smoothly as initially thought, according to new reports which suggest the president got rather bored during his royal tour.

The US president allegedly moaned that he had “had enough” of being “shown beautiful things” by the end of his whirlwind 48-hour trip to the UK last week.

According to the Mirror, Trump then promised King Charles he would not “drag” him around Washington’s monuments when he visits the US.

Behind closed doors, the president allegedly told tech industry leaders at Chequers: “I’ve had a great time, I’ve seen so many beautiful things. I’ve seen a lot of beautiful things. Like, a lot.
