Reform UK’s deputy Richard Tice snapped at Sky News’ Trevor Phillips this morning after the presenter probed the party’s plans to reduce small boat crossings across the Channel.

Nigel Farage’s right-wing party has supported the anti-immigration protests which have been taking place outside asylum hotels throughout the summer.

Reform also outlined plans to deport all small boat arrivals to the UK last week – only to U-turn hours later, admitting they would not deport women and children after all.

Amid some confusion over Reform’s policies, Phillips tried to get some clarity on how far the party would go to support the removal of asylum seekers.

Alluding to recent criminal activity within the demonstrations, he asked Tice: “Can you be clear with us that there is no encouragement from your party to the sort of person who wants to break into asylum hotels in masks and intimidate asylum........
