Reform Tells Men To Use Female Toilets Despite Advocating For Single-Sex Spaces

Reform UK told men to use the same toilets as women – despite speaking about the importance of single sex spaces.
The apparent double standards took place as the right-wing party held a press conference in Westminster about cracking down on violence against women and girls.
The use of toilets has become a hot-button issue ever since the Supreme Court ruled that a woman is legally defined by biological sex, sparking a wider debate about what public facilities a trans person can use.
In Reform’s manifesto, it also calls for a ban on what it calls a “transgender ideology” and insists “schools must have single sex facilities”.
Linden Kemkaran, the Reform leader of Kent Council Council, echoed this messaging today, saying: “It is a fact that allowing biological men into women’s spaces has made women and girls in the UK less safe.”
