Donald Trump has reportedly come up with a peace plan to end Russia's invasion of Ukraine – but has not involved Kyiv in the negotiations.

Keir Starmer’s spokesperson has pushed back on Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin’s apparent new peace plan to end the Ukraine war.

Multiple outlets have reported that the US president has been working with Russia on a new strategy which could include demands for Ukraine to cede more territory in the Donbas, give up its weapons and take a cut to its military.

If these reports are accurate, it would be a major red line for Ukraine as Kyiv has repeatedly refused to willingly give up any land to Putin.
