Kemi Badenoch's Plan To Leave ECHR Torn Apart With 1 Rather Obvious Point

Kemi Badenoch’s plan to take the UK out of the European Convention on Human Rights has been brutally mocked for missing a rather obvious point.
The Tory leader announced on the eve of the Conservatives’ annual conference in Manchester that this was “necessary to protect our borders, our veterans and our citizens”.
The Telegraph then questioned Badenoch’s decision in an interview by pointing out that it could make the UK an international pariah like Russia and Belarus, neither of whom are part of the ECHR.
She replied: “Canada’s not in the ECHR. They’re not a pariah. Neither is Australia, neither is the US or New Zealand.
“We need to stop using these silly arguments to stop us from doing the right thing.”
But a Labour source was quick to mock........
