A man stands outside Huntingdon Station as Police and other emergency responders attend the scene on November 02, 2025 in Huntingdon, England after a stabbing attack on a train.
The home secretary has urged the public to “avoid speculation” after a mass train stabbing took place last night.
Ten people were taken to hospital, nine with life-threatening injuries, following a horrifying attack on a train heading from Doncaster down to London’s King’s Cross.
Police say four have now been discharged although two people remain in a life-threatening condition in hospital.
The counter-terror police were initially involved, but police have now concluded it was not a terrorist incident.
Two people have been arrested, a 32-year-old Black British man and a 35-year-old man of Caribbean descent. Police have specified both were born in the UK.
