An ex-Tory MP, who was kicked out by voters at the last general election, has just defected to Reform UK.
As reported by the Spectator, Adam Holloway announced on Wednesday that, after spending almost 20 years as the Conservative MP for Gravesham, he was now going to be joining Nigel Farage’s right-wing party.
There’s only one problem: just a year ago, he urged voters not to back Reform.
He previously posted on social media that a “vote for Reform is a vote for Labour” but has since said that he “no longer believed” that statement.
Holloway lost his seat in July 2024 to Labour’s Lauren Sullivan, who overturned his majority of 15,000.
