It’s no secret that Christopher Nolan plays by his own rules.

Whether he’s exclusively releasing his trailers in the cinema, shooting entirely with IMAX cameras or producing film roll that spans close to 20 kilometres, the Oscar-winning director is a long-time champion of the sanctity of cinema.

So it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise to hear that his next movie is about to kick things up a notch.

The filmmaker is set to follow the huge success of Oppenheimer with an adaptation of the ancient Greek epic The Odyssey.

Matt Damon will star as the king of Ithaca, Odysseus, who embarks on a perilous 10-year journey home from the Trojan War while encountering the wrath of gods and many mythical creatures along the way.

The star-studded cast also includes Tom Holland, Anne........
