Stevie Wonder, here at the 2025 Met Gala in May, gracefully addressed rumors about his sight during a concert in Cardiff, Wales.

Stevie Wonder has responded to longstanding rumours that he is not actually blind.

The music icon and Motown legend has been in the industry for over six decades at this point, but throughout the years listeners have tossed around the theory (sometimes half-jokingly) that he can in fact see.

However, during the Cardiff stop on his Love, Light & Song UK tour, the Superstition singer took the opportunity to dispel the speculation.

“I must say to all of you, something that I was thinking, ‘When did I want to let the world know this?’ But I wanted to say it right now. You know there have been rumours about me seeing and all that?” he said to laughs from the crowd, as shown in
