After weeks of speculation about whether Chris Hughes and JoJo Siwa’s relationship was actually deeper than friendship, the pair finally confirmed they were romantically involved last month.

The couple emerged from their time on Celebrity Big Brother as very close friends, declaring that they were platonic “soulmates” while appearing on This Morning as viewers suspected they were, in fact, much more than that.

With the relationship now out in the open, it feels like the right time to look back on their whirlwind friendship-turned-romance.

April 2025: Sparks fly on Celebrity Big Brother

The former Love Island star and Dance Moms alum were both contestants on

Celebrity Big Brother earlier this year, during which JoJo was still in a relationship with Australian actor Kath Ebbs.

However Chris and JoJo clearly formed a strong bond during their time in the house, and were often seen hugging, hanging out and making jokes together.

Chris also defended JoJo when fellow contestant Mickey Rourkemade homophobic comments towards the Karma singer.
