After months of speculation about which White Lotus resort will be opening its doors next, it looks like fans might finally have their answer.

It was previously rumoured that the fourth season of the award-winning drama could potentially film in countries like Norway, Egypt or Mexico, while HBO exec Francesca Orsi later claimed that it would likely be another location in Europe, after season two took place in Sicily.

However, according to Deadline’s “sources”, The White Lotus’ behind-the-scenes team have now settled on France as a location for the upcoming fourth season.

While you might think this means that The White Lotus is finally heading to the French alps for a ski break season set in a colder climate, producer David Bernad has always maintained that showrunner Mike White “does not like the cold” and would therefore “never” be tempted to do a season anywhere other than a sunny location.

Deadline’s report has suggested the French Riviera will be the setting of The White Lotus’ next European adventure.

And while the French setting remains unconfirmed for the time being, that hasn’t stopped fans from suggesting a few stars who could make interesting new additions to season four…
