A new addition to this year’s Strictly Come Dancing line-up has been announced.
Last week, Game Of Thrones actor Kristian Nairn became the 15th celebrity confirmed to be taking part in the upcoming series.
However, on Thursday night, Kristian – best known for his role as Hodor in the award-winning fantasy series – revealed he’d been forced to withdraw from the show on medical grounds.
In his place, soap star Lewis Cope will now be competing when Strictly returns to our screens next month.
Lewis is best known for his performance as Nicky Milligan in Emmerdale, but has also appeared in Vera and the stage musical Billy Elliott as a child performer.
He said: “I’m so excited to be swapping the Dales for the dance floor and joining this year’s Strictly Come Dancing. I’ve always been a fan of the show and cannot wait to get started!”
