La Voix at the TV Baftas earlier this year

RuPaul’s Drag Race UK finalist La Voix has become the seventh celebrity to join this year’s Strictly Come Dancing line-up.

During Wednesday’s edition of Scott Mills’ Radio 2 breakfast show, La Voix – who made it to the top two of last year’s series of Drag Race UK – confirmed she had signed up for Strictly 2025.

A veteran drag performer, La Voix is no stranger to reality TV, having previously made it to the finals of Britain’s Got Talent, competed on the global drag singing contest Queen Of The Universe and aided the contestants on ITV’s celebrity drag show Queens For The Night.

She said: “I’ve performed for royalty, RuPaul and Simon Cowell, but nothing fills me with more excitement (and quite a bit of terror) than the thought of dancing in front of millions on live Saturday night TV. Strictly is a national institution and I can’t wait to get started.”
