The stars of the Bridget Jones films have reunited to give the iconic character a new permanent home in London.

Renée Zellweger was joined by co-stars past and present in Leicester Square on Monday for the unveiling of a new statue of one of her most iconic screen roles.

Bridget’s new statue joins a host of other classic British characters in the centre of Leicester Square, with existing likenesses of Mary Poppins, Paddington Bear, Harry Potter and even Mr Bean already up for display.
