Miriam Margolyes Has A Blunt Message For Critics Telling Her To 'Shut Up' About Politics

Miriam Margolyes was as unfiltered as ever when it came to the critics telling her to keep her political views to herself.
The Bafta winner has never exactly been backwards in coming forwards with her opinions about any subject – and that certainly includes politics.
While her commentary about various government figures over the years has landed her in hot water on more than one occasion, Miriam has more recently turned her attention to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, repeatedly expressing her solidarity with Palestine.
Last month, Miriam gave an interview with The Big Issue, in which she described the conflict as the “big issue” of our time.
She claimed: “I feel it particularly because I am Jewish – because I know how much wickedness and cruelty were meted out to Jews in my lifetime.
“I was born in ’41 at the height of the Holocaust and I cannot bear to think that my people are doing exactly the same thing to another nation – and the nation they are doing it, to the Palestinian nation, were not........
